Dietary disease, dietary treatment

I am confident in the science behind the Virta program. I have never been a patient, nor am I paid in anyway to share their information. But I did have a pre-diabetes (Type 2) diagnosis that I reversed with a low-carbohydrate, high-fat diet, and that is the core of their science-driven nutrition-based program.

If you need more support to make this lifestyle change for your health, then I urge you to find a LCHF program – Virta or another – to help you. Type 2 diabetes is a dietary disease and can be addressed with a dietary approach.

For book information on the same, I recommend Dr. Berstein’s Diabetes Solution, The Diabetes Code by Dr. Jason Fung, and The PCOS Plan by Nadia Brito Pateguana, ND, and Dr. Fung. (I have read all three of these books and recommend them without reservation.)
